Boy! We had a blast watching our seeds grow into new baby sprouts!

Working with small children is always enchanting.  They require of you as a teacher to make learning meaningful. In our Science class, we are studying all about Plants.  Although, they have lots of previous knowledge, it´s just wonderful to see their amusement every time they learn or add something new to what they already know.  From scattering the seeds, to the plant out of the new baby sprouts, second graders have showed their love and devotion to care for nature, and to the purpose of becoming aware they are an important part of the co-existence ´human species,´ in charge of preserving and respecting life in all manners in our planet.  Here is a tiny portion of the work they are doing in class, because the big work is been done on the field in our school garden.  I invite you to be part of our project by asking the kids about it, by visiting the garden, but mostly, by pricing them for the wonderful job they´re doing.
